Alexandria Rehabilitation, LLC is a therapist-owned private clinic that specializes in upper extremity treatment. Through advanced study and training, our Certified Hand Therapist focuses on treating conditions affecting the shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand.
Shoulder, arm, wrist and hand injuries and conditions may seem simple and can often be taken for granted, but these types of issues can have serious impacts on how we function. Upper extremity injuries, specifically of the hand, affect how we care for ourselves, how we perform our jobs, and the way we participate in hobbies and recreational activities. However insignificant or traumatic your concern may be, having a Hand Therapy Specialist with the experience, skill and expertise to turn to will make the biggest impact on your recovery and function.
Our uniquely trained and specialized therapist can meet these critical needs to give you the most efficient, optimal and desired recovery. Choosing a therapist who is not properly trained in upper extremity rehabilitation can result in loss of quality of function in your work, hobbies and daily life.
Choose and trust Alex Rehab with confidence, knowing you are getting the best possible treatment, recovery, and outcome for the most important part of your body.
Gratitude From Our Patients
On October 8, 2015, I began therapy at Alexandria Rehabilitation with owner/therapist Amos Hartsell. Finally a therapist who actually listened to my issues and took the time to customize a therapy plan which targeted my specific injuries and issues. After a few sessions, I was beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
His knowledge of the mechanics of muscles, nerves, tendons etc. and the way they work together, along with his ability to explain that to me in regards to my injury and therapy plan was/is so appreciated and helpful in my journey of therapy and ultimately my recovery.
At this point in my therapy, I am doing movements I haven’t been able to do in two years, gaining strength that I lost and I am finally feeling like my old self again. You know you’re doing better when family and friends tell you that they can see a big change in you.
Amos and his receptionist, Melissa VanSickle, are extremely kind, caring, friendly and great listeners. I have come to consider them as friends and I am beyond grateful that I was referred to Alexandria Rehabilitation and Amos Hartsell.
Thank you for helping me reclaim my life.Dawn D.
